Overall descripition.
Our SIP panels consist of two 11mm facings of Oriented Strand Board (OSB3).
Which are foamed in situ with apolyurethane (PUR) foam, providing both the bonding strength & insulation properties.
The combination of facings & core material produce a panel of a composite structure, extreamly rigid with exceptional values.
Facings.
The panel facings or skins are 11mm OSB3 boards.
PUR core & thermal performance.
The rigid PUR core is a two component type liquid foam injected with a target density of 40/44 kg/m3.
This material contains no CFC / HCFC and has an Ozone Depletion Potential of Zero.
K value or thermal conductivty of material used.
OSB3 facings - 0.130W/mK Polyurethane core - 0.0230 W/mK
U value is the K value relative to the thickness of insulation or measurement of heat loss.
75mm o/a thickness 0.330 w/m2/'c (weight 16.30 kilo sq mtr)
100mm o/a thickness 0.270 w/m2/'c (weight 17.30 kilo sq mtr)
125mm o/a thickness 0.170 w/m2/'c (weight 18.30 kilo sq mtr)
Available dimensions.
Panel width is generally 1220mm, subject OSB3 supply dimensions.
Panel length is generally 2440mm (5000mm max single facing / skin), subject to OSB3 supply dimensions.
Overall panel thickness is 75mm, 100mm or 125mm.
SIP splines are available at 75mm & 100mm for 100mm and 125mm panels respectively.
All panels have 50mm deep rebate to perimeter.
As a small manufacturer our SIP panels do not have a BBA Certificate, however our commitment to manufacturing a quality product remains paramount.
